D Shirley's Story
Started at Southern Bell on Monday after graduating from high school on Friday. Then Frito-Lay, which is the very best company in the states, for 14 years. Left to open a Western Sizzlin Steak House, sold 3 in 1985. Then SunShades LTD business until 1995 selling to Sunglass Hut. Worked for Park Hotel short time and then Grinnell Fire Protection for about 5 or 6 years. Helped open a new office for East Coast Fire Protection and retired in 2006. Have two children, girl and boy, and two grandchildren (both boys).
Love Charlotte and my home, church, and especially my Jeep Wrangler. My last name is Pace and I do love my early years in Woodstock and now on Rea Croft Drive in Charlotte. Like to watch sports including the Braves, and wherever Peyton Manning is playing, along with watching team Steve Spurrier coaches.
Life is wonderful and school in Jacksonville was the best!
